Spent the past few hours watching Anita Mui's performance.

This clip was when i was -2 years old! Haha. yea..i wasn't born yet. This is anita mui first time on stage and also the first 年新秀比賽..She's truly an icon like Madonna. Her stage presence is so strong... she is born to conquer the stage. She is only 19 or 20 in this competition. Her stage presence is already so strong.. i did watch this competition just 1 or 2 months ago when it aired on TV. Well, nowadays..singers are not even half of what she is when she joined this competition.. a pity. Joey Yung, Sandy Lam, Kelly Chen, Sammi Cheng are exceptional. We can never compare the standard back than and the standard now... It is dropping.

Why the interest in anita mui recently? I watch a 12 mins performance of Joey doing a tribute to Roman Tam and Anita Mui in a concert..it's a Red VS White concert last year... i'm totally so amazed. So i took the time to watch more of anita mui.. i'll be watching Roman's clip after i finish with anita.

Sometimes i wonder..how can singers be singers if they cant sing...basic requirement for a singer is being able to sing WELL.. I meet alot of people with dreams..dreams to become famous.. but when you talk to them..you realise... they are really being unrealistic.. when i first said i hope i could be dealing with the music indsutry someday..i was said to be unrealisitc. but wait till you meet people who are really unrealistic.. they cant sing..they dont look good.. they argue with you.. they think they know alot.. they have too much thinking going on.... they think too highly of themselves...they talk like they will get famous one day... cant stand such people... die die wanna argue and talk about the music industry... take for granted that the stage will be given to them.. take for granted that chances are put in front of them.. These are the unrealistic people. Oh well!
